Our mission at DBA is to integrate the immediate solution with the future needs of the client. DBA's expertise in design, construction, and building systems are essential to converting our client's ideas and needs into a reality that meets the budget. The client’s direct involvement is encouraged in DBA Architects’ responsive approach to design. We listen to our clients as they define their needs and visions. Then, using our experience and knowledge, we explore what blend of art, architecture, technology and function will fulfill those needs.

Our philosophy at DBA Architects shall reflect our belief in the adage that "form follows function." Providing well-designed spaces to accommodate the varied activities of our clients requires an understanding of functional flow and the multiple use of space. This attitude: that a building must function well before the physical form is developed, is key to the design process at DBA Architects.

DBA Architects provides architectural planning, construction management and design-build services to a diversified clientele. Specializing in office, commercial, for sale and for rent multi-family housing, senior housing including memory care and assisted living, industrial, space planning, and ecclesiastical architecture, the DBA team has guided projects of all sizes to successful conclusions on time and on budget.

A 1966 graduate of Montana State University, Don Baker, is the DBA team leader. He has practiced as a principle since 1971, and founded DBA Architects in 1992. With over 40 years of experience, Don and the DBA team are able to share their considerable expertise in the design of buildings that employ current design principles, techniques and materials while being functional, aesthetically sound and economically feasible.
